Chris Morris is a dynamic and purpose-driven leader with a unique blend of elite athletic achievement and passionate community service. As Co-Founder and Vice President of Five Horsemen, a nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, Chris plays a pivotal role in transforming underserved communities through innovative programs focused on education, healthcare, economic empowerment, and youth leadership.

 

A former NBA professional and first-round draft pick for the New Jersey Nets, Chris brings the discipline and team-oriented mindset of a professional athlete to every endeavor. Through Five Horsemen, he helps spearhead initiatives that support students in the Atlanta Public School System and young women in the organization’s Five Horsemen Nonprofit Leadership Program, equipping them with resources across STEM, health, entrepreneurship, academic literacy, athletics, and the arts.

 

With over a decade of experience in youth mentorship and special education, Chris has worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional in Fort Bend ISD, where he supports students with severe behavioral needs, promotes inclusive learning, and implements behavioral intervention strategies.

 

Chris’s past leadership roles include serving as a Juvenile Supervision Officer with the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department and a Project Manager with ABM Security, where he managed personnel, ensured safety compliance, and built strong client relationships.nt.
